The Ultimate Ride Campground is located on DuPont Road, beside the DuPont State Forest. We have rustic Cabins (no elect or water), Motorhome, Equine, RV, and Tent sites that will accommodate the largest rigs (up to 40 ft trailer length). Our barn has large(12 x 12) stalls for our equestrian campers as well as those staying off-site. Many sites include corrals for the ultimate equestrian camping experience. Our goal is to provide all campers with a nearby and relaxing place to enjoy The DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest,Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville, and surrounding attractions.

Rustic cabin: Near bath house with Twin beds. Enjoy fern carpeted forest floor views.

We are the only campground with off-road access into the DuPont State Forest. Direct access to the Waterfall Loop makes for a beautiful horseback ride, bike ride, or hike. Ride your horse, bicycle, or just hike from your campsite to the Lake Imaging Trailhead along our beautiful trail (#86 on the DuPont State Forest map, URC Trail). This trailhead provides a central location to enjoy all of the DuPont State Forest trails, without breaking camp. Hooker Falls is only one mile past our gate, for a wonderful, refreshing swim after a long day.

Over 100 miles of multi-use trails are available within the DuPont State Forest . Additional trails at the Pisgah National Forest are within 15 miles. Enjoy a day at the Biltmore Estate. Shuttle services and trailer rental are available for off-site riding, such as a wonderful ride across the spectacular Biltmore Property. Rock climbing and Kayaking on the famous Green River are within a 30 minute drive. Trout fishing and hunting permits are available for both forests(@ Wal-Mart). Shopping and dining in the nearby towns of Brevard and Hendersonville are less than 15 miles away. Asheville is 35 miles away. Try our driving waterfall trek for a beautiful afternoon getaway. Transylvania County is known as '"The Land of Waterfalls" (see link below). Many only a short walk from your car!
